Long Bay beach, Long Bay - Antigua and Barbuda

All Good Bays Must Come to an End

uploaded by Jeff

The east end of Long Bay, Antigua.

Ha! Jeff, I clicked on your name, and saw the rest of Long Bay. Thanks for posting, as these beach photos really help, particularly on bad days.

It was Wadadli beers in Antigua, not Corona. When you can no longer pronounce the beer name, you are cut off.

Nice beach, I wish I could see all of it. Eliza, don't worry about the photo being crooked. I can't take straight photos either after a few coronas. (Jeff, don't forget the AA meeting tonight).

I'm sure the beach itself is a 10, but the photo needs straightening up, the horizon is skewed. It doesn't need a palm tree, but something is missing ... oh I see, I'm missing. Why aren't I in Antigua?

Are there tidal pools in those rocks? They are rocks, right? Reminds me of Dana Point, CA. I like it.

Ahh Gene, that sounds perfectly enticing .... funny you should mention hurricanes ... I was watching a special on tv last night about Hurricane Ivan and the destruction dealt to Pensacola. It made my stomach turn

Hi Carol... Laid back as usual, just breezing along with the breeze. We are enjoying another hurricane free summer!!

I agree Gene, a palm tree does not make the beach. But it doesn't hurt either ... how are things down in P'cola these days?

5+

A beach a palm tree does not make. I suppose you gave it your best SHOT... I give it a 5.

I agree Harold. It's hard to call it a 5 without a palm tree. There was great snorkeling right on the reef in the upper left corner of this picture.
