Well, my wife and I stayed at the Pineapple Beach Club in 1989. The resort was heavily damaged in 1995 by hurricane Luis and they rebuilt in 1996. We went back to the (now) Grand Pineapple Beach resort this July 2009 - with children this time. These beachfront rooms are pretty much unchanged from 1989. There is a trail up to the gazebo that turns left up the hill. At the top of the hill (where you can see a little flag) there is Mary's Outhouse. A bar and barbecue decorated with makeshift signs from everyone who has been there - kind of a shrine to happy, drunk people.

Jeff - I believe you mis-spelled the first word of the title...Isn't it "Jeff's" Pineapple Beach Resort? Do we get a history lesson today? I would love to know more about this place - absolute 10 stars!
