Billabong bungalow - not bad. Shark attack - ouch. TinyUrl ... awesome. I did not know about this service. I'll add that to my bag of tricks, thanks.

PS A few hours ago a man was attacked by a shark in Sydney Harbour. If interested, read about it at http://tinyurl.com/c6fgzh

If you would like to read more about the house, here is the link http://tinyurl.com/cxd5uo Looks like a whole lot of trouble in paradise...

Funny place, Australia. 60% of Queensland has been declared officially flooded , while bushfires are burning in large sections of Victoria. The floods are bringing outbreaks of Dengue Fever, a mosquito-borne disease. The only safe place is...the beach! Anyhow, Angourie's most famous resident is Gordon Merchant, founder of Billabong Surfwear, and keen beach-lover. Apparently, Angourie beaches have some of the best surf in Australia. I don't know about the surf, but Gordon's house was the biggest castle I've ever seen in a sleepy coastal hamlet.

Hey my friends, Learned something new today. How to dye your hair with cool-aid. Switched from WHITE to RED. I think the internet is getting to me.

Kim, only thing spooky about this beach is the ("killer crab") that inhabits it, photo of which should be forthcoming. I believe his name is Frank.

It's a beautiful, serene beach, Julian. Just the type of place I'd like to visit. Hope you are well and out of harms way with all those wildfires raging down there. Stay safe!

Julian, further I ment to say this rock formation looks like a gigantic arrowhead pointed out to sea.

GeneCPart2 - Pensacola, Florida , USA      2/10/2009 6:30 AM

Hello Julian, My my ya'll certainly do have gigantic barnacles in Australia. I 've chosen "Turner Beach" for my notebook. We pray for your safety and relief from the raging fires in your country. Julian, is this formation, natural or man made?

GeneCPart2 - Pensacola, Florida , USA      2/10/2009 5:56 AM

Mollusks from all over Eastern Australia come here for the team-building, rock-climbing exercise.

Jeff - Philadelphia , USA      2/10/2009 5:48 AM

I used this picture as a background on my notebook computer ever since I took it in January 2009. I never get bored looking at it, but it's early days. Something about it cheers me up every time I look at it.
