Gorgeous! Do they give Nobel Prizes for countries as well? Australia should get one for having beautiful beaches!

Gene, you're way behind. In our house, we all got a Nobel prize each. I've been on the phone to Sweden to find out why, and when I finally got through to the operator, they gave me another Nobel prize. They said no one got through to speak to a human operator before, and that I must be a techno-genius. They still couldn't tell me why I got the other Nobel prize, but they are looking into it. They told me it could take up to six months, as they have a very long list of unexplained Nobel prizes that need to be clarified.

OOoh a beach-inspired political discussion. After I got over the shock of the prize I realised that the Nobel crew are really saying "come on, Prez, get off yer arse and do something peaceful. That's what the peeps expected... so now you have to do it or you'll look like a jackass." Yes Sydney is lots of headlands, sandstone cliffs and covey beaches. Verrry perty. You should visit, yes?

Well, Gene, I for one think you are much more deserving of the Nobel Peace Prize - after all, you have brought laughs and relaxation to those of us that live inland by posting your pics and witty comments--and that's a whole lot more than he's done... Good job and congrats on your Nobel 'Beach' Prize!

Listn up you guys. I must run for now, I understand I too have won a "Nobel Prize" and for what, I have no idea. It must be a mistake ,I certainly have not made a contribution to mankind to deserve such an honor, but then neither has our President. Surely it is a JOKE!!! I'm sure it will be sorted out after they discover their mistake. Cheers

Julian, there appears to be an great deal of coves along Australias coastline.(not so along our Atlantic or Gulf Coast)
