Avoca beach, Avoca - Australia

I woke up and l looked out the window to see...red. I thought I had bilateral retinal hemorrhages. We all loved the dust storm, and finding that our eyes were okay. I took lots of photos but I didn't have the time to go to the beach. Anyhow, I can use Picasa any day of the week to get the same effect. The closest I had been to Mars was when I watched Total Recall, with Arnie Schwartzenegger. Yesterday I was IN the movie. Woah!

BTW, a scientific assessment of this beach indicates that one in five visitors to this beach is splay-footed.

Are you OK down there in Sydney, Julian? I've seen recent news pictures that show the sky about the same color as this sand.
