No, it's an observation tower for the shark spotter with the shotgun. Julian, South Beach has some interesting art-deco, however I don't believe I've ever seen a purple roof. The colors are vivid, I think my camera has seen it's better days. (12 yrs) THE BEACH AND THE PHOTO ARE BOTH TERRIFIC!
