"Claudette" was actually very gentle to us. Some gusty winds, high seas. These are seasonal storms that pop-up very quickly this time of year.

Reminds me of Laguna Beach, California. Except there are trees in this photo and just city in Laguna. I agree, beaches are great in the winter. Sometimes even nicer. 12C IS nippy. But better than sleet. Put your face in the wind and inhale for me!!

Julian, I've rarely seen our beaches in winter, but I agree, they are still beautiful. However, I'm not sure the mildly cool spell you get in Sydney really counts as winter. Let me know the next time you have two feet of snow on the ground. ;-)
