A beach in winter - still a nice place to visit on a Sunday. After spending a week on the snow, I couldn't wait to walk on sand. Manly is quite a nice place. It has a corso with lots of cafes, bookshops and clothing stores. One beach faces the ocean, while the other is on Sydney's harbour.

Julian, if your TV is as shallow as out TV, then a toddlers wading pool warrants 5 stars. Looks as if you're in the dead of winter!!
