Correct-a-moondoh. Anyhow, as my wife tells me, shaking her head: Rust never sleeps.
Er ... from the Forbidden Planet? (I did not know, but the all-knowing Google did.)
Jeff, I couldn't sleep. It's the monsters from the id! (If anyone guesses where this quote comes from, they get a yet-to-be-decided prize)
Julian, your posting was made at 3:42 am local time in Sydney. Are you OK? Get some sleep, mate!
The satellite view is really great. We can see the shark net clearly.
Funny how things change quickly. This photo was taken in January 2009. In February we had three shark attacks in three weeks, including one in the harbour (the others were at Bondi beach and Avalon beach, on the ocean side). Now everyone swims inside the net, and will probably continue to do so for...maybe another four weeks.

I'm guessing that is a harbor tour and that there is alcohol flowing. As for the people on the wrong side of the shark net, I am reminded of Nemo's aquarium name - Shark Bait Ooh Ha Ha.
Hi Julian, beautiful beach. What are all the people doing on what appears to be grossly overloaded schooner? Are they SHARK WATCHERS? Cheers!!
