Jeff, Sydney and the state of NSW are fine so far. In Victoria, our south, the death toll has reached 93, 750 homes have been destroyed,and 330,000 ha have been burnt out. Rain is predicted this week, so things should ease off... Looking at beach photos is the only relaxing thing these days.

Wow, that's a five star picture even without a palm tree! I'm sorry to hear about the fires near Melbourne. How are things in Sydney?

I only took this picture a couple of weeks ago, in Yamba. Now that I am back at work, it seems like two years ago ! Anyhow, tuesday night I will have my big chance: I have bought a lottery ticket, where the first prize has jackpotted to $40M. fingers crossed. I call it "making a deposit into the Losers' Fund". Each week six million losers like me put a small amount of money into a barrell, and someone becomers a...winner! This time it will be me, right?
