Looking out my window at the rain pouring down, this beach looks absolutely tempting. Love the sheep, too!
And Jeff---I'm so sorry about your snow! I've been in winter denial for 2 years now. Keep going out with a sweatshirt on expecting it to be warm when the sun's out. And it never is. Time to move.
It is a great picture, Eliza! The monitor is getting too much reflection from the sun (I can't believe the sun is actually out) so didn't see the little gray sheep. Have to get a good look at this so wait a sec....ok! It looks beautiful there, doesn't it? A little desolate but that makes it more attractive, doesn't it? Very nice.
It is beautiful, and I agree Jeff, even a bad beach is better than an office window! Hope y'all fare well with the snow. I'm thankful this one overshot us. It has been a record-breaking winter here so far as well.
*MORE* snow on the way in Philadelphia. They are calling for another 6 - 12 inches today and we have already had a record winter. >_<
Ooops, I overshot 10 stars (he says sheepishly).
This is a beautiful picture. (There is a slightly higher-resolution version of this picture on Wikipedia under the topic of Tiree.) With "high" temperatures around 14°C (57°F), I doubt anyone swims here. Remember Eliza, even a bad beach picture is better than an office window.
That is one of the few actually good photos in this collection of "upload every photo I've ever taken of a beach" group. It's so picturesque. Look at all those dandelions and the little grey sheep. So gorgeous. 10 stars (if I could).
Its a nice beach, but it has small waves, not a lot of sand, and doesnt have the nice paradise theme youd expect from a beach.
Great place to picnic!
