Hubby and I have taken to going down to OBX in October or November for a week or two. Weather still decent, no crowds, perfect for lounging on the beach with your sweetie, Kim! Was down there yesterday for a family emergency though and it was cold, windy, snowing off and on .... not much different from being at home. It's only 15 here today, Gene!

e vacationed in the Outer Banks twice - the first time in Kill Devil Hills and the second time further down in Waves. The beaches are very nice and less crowded than the New Jersey beaches. However, the 8 hour drive to get there was brutal.
