We did lose our power in the middle of the night Friday night; Thank God it did not stay off too long though. There are folks around here that will be without power through the end of this week! I'm so sick of snow and oh-so ready to pack my bags and head to the beach ....any beach .... anyone want to join me?
Hi Rick - so funny you mentioned going if only for a day...I just went to the beach for exactly one day two weeks ago, and I must say, it was so worth it. It's just so refreshing getting outside in the warm sunshine and not wearing socks and a coat! What a great pic, 5 stars for sure!

Hi Jeff and Carol - I hope you guys are alright with the blizzard. We only got about 2", but are supposed to get 4-6" Tuesday with ice first. I sure wish I was at the beach where it's only rain and storms to deal with. At least there, you don't freeze to death when your power goes out! Stay safe!
Nice sunset Rick. Hi Carol. We only have about 20" of snow from last weekend, but are expecting 12" more midweek. Have all the old Beach Zappers gone into hibernation?
I would give just about anything to be there now! We have 30" of snow on the ground right now and at least 6 more on the way tomorrow. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful picture Rick.
