I lived in Pensacola for awhile back in the late 80's and early 90's, and let me tell you, I sorely miss it. That area, as well as the North Carolina coast are my all-time favorites. The photos that are posted, and yes, the humorous banter are what keep me sane in this insane world I live in!

Hi JShipskie! I, too, am a beachaholic, and I, too, enjoy Coronas on the 'burp' beach! Julian, it's 9am here in my part of the USA, drink one for each of us, with or without the lights!

That has to be the shortest rainbow in the world. It matches the smallest surf ever recorded. Both phenomena caught on film! Was there any wind?
