And one of these days, my daughter and I are going to claim those mint juleps that GeneC has promised us, when we are fortunate enough to get back to P-cola! I may even reciprocate and take him to The Oyster Bar!
Carol - You are so fortunate to have had the time you did in the panhandle. It has been like a second home for me since birth, but one day it will be home! Look out GeneCPart2, there goes the neighborhood!
I lived in Pensacola for awhile back in the late 80's and early 90's, and let me tell you, I sorely miss it. That area, as well as the North Carolina coast are my all-time favorites. The photos that are posted, and yes, the humorous banter are what keep me sane in this insane world I live in!
Carol - I'm with you! These wonderful photos and the great humor keeps me going in between trips to the real thing. JShipskie, keep those photos coming - the Florida panhandle is my personal favorite place to visit.
Jean-o, I definitely agree with you. I am a beachaholic as well, but unfortunately only get to visit once in awhile. These pictures keep me going in between. Julian, enjoy a Corona for me as well, just don't forget the lime! JShipskie, welcome. Keep those beautiful pictures coming!
Hi JShipskie! I, too, am a beachaholic, and I, too, enjoy Coronas on the 'burp' beach! Julian, it's 9am here in my part of the USA, drink one for each of us, with or without the lights!
Julian, it is nearly 11 pm in Sydney. Do you have a beach with stadium lights?
Hi JShipskie. I am a beachaholic. Thank you for sharing and welcome to the group. Let's all say Hi to...oh, forget it, I just can't do this anymore. I'm off to the beach with my cooler full of Coronas.
JShipskie, I think you swam over to my place for this photo. Jeff If it's waves you want, you should have been here last week. We love the calm.Julian the other end of that rainbow was at my place. Happy to see everyone survived Memorial Day Holiday.
Hey, another west-coast Florida BeachZapper! Welcome JShipskie! This looks like such a lonely little wave. Maybe if all the BeachZappers say "hi", we can cheer it up?
That has to be the shortest rainbow in the world. It matches the smallest surf ever recorded. Both phenomena caught on film! Was there any wind?
