Well, Jeff, it sounds like you'll need an agent for your act, and I think it should be me since I'll need extra pier-fishing funds. This also explains why Gene tied the balloons to his chair to take a photo!

Jean-o, hopefully people would pay $7.50 to see the show, because that is what it will cost you to fish off that pier. It's only $1.25 to walk on the pier and (hopefully) take pictures. Gene, do you buy an annual walking pass?

Jeff - Philadelphia , USA      9/4/2009 9:09 AM

...and, Mattchew - you are so right. I had forgotten that a pier actually goes over the water and doesn't stop at the edge of the surf...This one we could fish off of! 5 stars for fish-a-bility!

Good Morning Gene! I agree, let's wind him up like a monkey with cymbals and a striped beanie hat...I bet people would pay to see that show! {:-o)

Hey Jeano - check out that pier! Now that's the way a pier is supposed to be... unlike the pier at Mexico Beach, this one actually goes out over the water!!! Let's go fishin'!

I'll take a front row seat to that performance. Jeff always manages to get my day off to a start with a good laugh.

Thanks Carol and Hi Jean-o, no, instead let's wind him up (Jeff) with a corona and watch him perform.

Would somebody take the coffee away from Jeff? He's way too wound up this morning. He made my jaws hurt from laughing! Good ones, Jeff! Keep up the morning entertainment!

Jean-o - Pekin , USA      9/4/2009 6:58 AM

Gene, what a great place to propose to your "sweetie" ... Jeff, thanks for the laughs on an otherwise gray day. Have a nice holiday everyone.

Carol - Virginia , USA      9/4/2009 6:47 AM

No Julian, I do helicopter tours of the beach but I did stay at a Holiday in last night! :) Jeff, yes to all three XD, the casino was located just East of the fishing pier and it just so happened that I proposed to my "sweetie Pie" on the dance floor at that casion over 50 years ago. Nothing crude about your remarks, they keep me smiling!!Keep it coming CHEERS

I know, there were card sharks off-shore, and if you don't use enough sunscreen, you can get a royal flush. (OK, I'll stop.)

Jeff - Philadelphia , USA      9/4/2009 4:17 AM

So Gene, I'm betting this beach was named after the Casino Resort that opened there in 1931. Do you know if there was actually gambling there? Maybe there were just a lot of sand dollars lying around and seagulls playing craps. (Sorry, that was a little crude.)

Jeff - Philadelphia , USA      9/4/2009 4:17 AM

Gene, did you tie a bunch of helium baloons to your chair to take this photo? 5 Stars, again.
