I wonder how they measure whiteness. Perhaps using their eyes. have you seen this photo of Hyams? http://tinyurl.com/m47mxe I'm sure Pensacola is lovely, but it's very far away.
Perfect !!!! Kimberly & I have just added another beach for us to visit. 143 143
PLEASE NOTE: These comments were made only after having given this awesome photo 5 (I say) 5 stars. Enjoy your day gents and Eliza also.
Meanwhile back at the beach... As you can readily see the sand in this photo is WET and does not reflect the radiance of the sun as it would were it dry, however I will match my sand to any sand on the Globe and will give you 10% more sand if you can prove me wrong. Simple give me an address and I'll send you a sample. And Jeff I am Irish-Italian (a terrible combination) however I just don't get it with the Guinnes Stout (ofr any other dark ale. BIG CHEERS :)
Well Julian, if Eliza is the sumptuous young beauty (the one in the black swimsuit and white sun-bonnet sitting under the umbrella at Hyams Beach at Jervis Bay) I would love to slug it out with her anytime!!! I think she just might win!! Cheers.
Well, Hyams Beach has the advantage of a Guinness Book of Records entry, but I wonder how they judged this. Since color and brightness perception are affected by lighting, and I doubt they brought any of Casino Beach's sand down to Jervis Bay to compare, it seems this honor is subjective at best. I'll toast both of these white beaches with a Guinness Stout - the darkest beer in the world (maybe).
Gene, you and Eliza are going to have to slug it out once and for all, about which beach has the whitest sand. I could produce a photo with whiter sand, using Picasa... But that would be cheating.
