Jean-o, The only way to make the ears is by using one inverted and one upright horizontal apostrophe! I dont't see how the keyboard could be maneuvered to that end.

Hey Gene! Sorry, I was *gasp* working... yep, that's right, in an office with now windows. How depressing. This site is my only window. The straight line is the key above the "Enter" key and below the "Backspace" on my keyboard. Far right, It's a "Backslash" or Shift to get "Vertical Line". Hope that helps!
