Gene, glad to see you are back. It's 88F in Sydney (31C), but the humidity makes it just like a sauna. I guess I could do with Jeff's climate for a few minutes. This temperature does not lend itself to anything productive.

Thanks Jeff, It's all Croa.... I mean Greek to me.

GeneCPart2 - Pensacola, Florida , USA      1/22/2009 9:20 PM

Gene, dobrodošli natrag! - This is "welcome back" in Croatian ... at least according to Google Translate :-)

Jeff - Philadelphia , USA      1/22/2009 7:56 PM

Carol, whats the weather like in Newport News around St Paddy's Day? Have you ever been to the Shamrock Festival there? You know, it's this time of the year that these pictures make me ache with yearning. I don't want to wait to get back to the sun and fun.

Kimafterdenial - CO , USA      1/22/2009 7:37 PM

Kim, you've given me hope ... about the warm weather. May hit 50 here tomorrow but headed right back down to 30 from there! Would love to be strolling on the beach right now with my honey

Carol - Virginia , USA      1/22/2009 6:57 PM

Nice beach, love the sand and I'm wishing it was between my toes right now! Rick, can we make it there before the snow starts? 143

Gene, its nice to hear from you again, I was hoping Captain Bosko would return you home safe and sound. (and on a day with your beach being highlighted, hhmm, a nice welcome home.. yea?) Jeff and Carol, we just had two days of 70 degree weather. I hope its headed your way. It was wonderful though its supposed to snow tomorrow.

Kimafterdenial - CO , USA      1/22/2009 6:47 PM

GeneCPart2: Great to have you back. You have been missed. I see where Florida has been hit with the cold weather lately but glad to hear you will be getting a "heat wave" of sorts this week. Has been bitter cold here too, but now snow as yet. I think Jeff has all of that! Keep those beautiful Pensacola beach shots coming ... love 'em.

Carol - Virginia , USA      1/22/2009 6:29 PM

Glad to hear it is getting warmer in Philly, as it is here too (I'm just outside of DC). May even hit 50 here tomorrow .... heatwave. I think you guys in Philly have gotten all of our snow, but we've been it with the bitter cold and wind.

Carol - Virginia , USA      1/22/2009 6:26 PM

RICK and KIM ...Thanks for interceding.

GeneCPart2 - Pensacola, Florida , USA      1/22/2009 3:49 PM

Capt. Bosko your Croatian Folk Dance is magical and worked in less than 24 hrs. CAROL and JEFF it is so nice to be back and even nicer to be missed. Comparatively speaking, Florida is having a heat wave (We have a high of 62 today) compared to you guys.

GeneCPart2 - Pensacola, Florida , USA      1/22/2009 3:45 PM

I'm baaaccck!!! Thanks for your help Scooter. GeneC abd Ashton are now GeneCPart2...I think. Regards to FRANK.

GeneCPart2 - Pensacola, Florida , USA      1/22/2009 3:24 PM

Carol, it is getting a little warmer (tommorrow may reach 48°) but it looks like it will stay mostly in the 15° to 35° range for the next few weeks. Still big snow storms in the forecast, unfortunately. I <3 snow but not as much as I <3 beaches.

Jeff - Philadelphia , USA      1/22/2009 1:26 PM

I didn't even notice that date, Jeff, thanks for pointing it out. Hopefully he'll come out of hibernation soon. How is it in Philly these days? Getting any warmer?

Carol - Virginia , USA      1/22/2009 10:20 AM

I wish Gene were back, but his comment was posted last November. With a high of 70° expected tomorrow in Pensacola, perhaps Gene will come out of hibernation.

Jeff - Philadelphia , USA      1/22/2009 9:41 AM

Nice to have you back, Gene! And of course, another lovely, inviting shot of Pensacola Beach. I am so ready to pack my bags and head down there!

Carol - Virginia , USA      1/22/2009 9:18 AM

It's 4pm and time to assess how badly I sunburned today. [...checking...] Hmmm, after a little aloe and a few Croatian beers, I should be feeling no pain.

Jeff - Philadelphia , USA      1/22/2009 6:08 AM

Hi everybody. Captain Bosko and the rest of CSF unit rescue Gene from jaws of internet limbo. Must have virtual dancing in Croatian folk costume next 24 hours! Rejoice!

Captain Bosko CSF - Zagreb , Croatia      1/22/2009 1:00 AM

Nice
