Beautiful....just gorgeous! Our snow melted but it's only 34 outside and gray. Looking to get a place down your way & are checking it out.
Jeff is right; this shot deserves 6 stars. Our snow here is finally beginning to melt and temps around 40 (heat wave). Wish I were down in Pensacola/Perdido Key basking in the sunshine on the nice warm sand.
Well then Jeff, you were only a stones throw from the "big bend" of Florida, where all this beauty begins, but sadly enough it all ends just past Pensacola, Perdido Key and Orange Beach. Temp is 68 today. :) Cheers
Gene, this picture deserves six stars. I just got back from a short business trip to Sarasota, FL. I got to see the bay but was too busy to get to the beach on the Gulf of Mexico. :-C
The temperature in Adelaide just reached 114F this morning (45.5C), nearly breaking the national capital city record set in Perth in 1991. Now, some people might be dreaming about Colorado, and vice versa.
Capt Bosko, You might like to know that I am very familiar with your waters. I patrolled the Adriatic Sea along the coast of what is now Croatic during the Suez Crisis back in 1955-56 and I know exactly where you are. Cheers
I only got 3 stars on this one. I am a complete failure.
Sorry Captain, I gotcha. I have CFS. Thanks.
Sorry Gene, CFS is Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, not Croatian Special Forces. The two is totally opposite, but we not at war with them. Too easy for us to win, not good for Unit's ego.
Up the ladder... First Capt Bosko, no I worry about you , is it CSF or CFS, you are using both, in any case it will please me mightly for you to keep Igor, his kit, the instruments, I might could use the piano accordian. Besides I have much better offer from Kim I cannot refuse, she is a nurse. THANK YOU KIM.
Funny you suggest that Gene because I AM a nurse... You buy, I'll fly!!
Gene, 74 degrees must be really hard to take. Had snow off and on all, now turning to sleet, freezing rain coming in during the night. These fabulous pictures keep me going!
Just beautiful. There's movement in the sand and you can almost see the waves moving in. Great photography! I'm sure we'll be similarly blessed in OH tonight as sleet/snow rush in!
Gene, we really worry about you. Today I authorized best CFS nurse (ex-KGB) come over. His name is Igor and he is 6"4. He will have CSF First Aid Kit, which is mostly alcohol. Rest is a mixture of surgical steel instruments and piano accordion for speedy recovery. Good luck!
Temp is now 74 degrees and rising. Am not going to make it. nurses only .. no lifeguards please. help, heeelp!!!!
Hello, Jeff, Kim, Carol, Rick... Am dehydrated from this blistering HOT sun ... will I make it to the cooler in time? If you don't hear from me soon, please send me a beautiful nurse!!!!
GeneC, as usual your beach looks great as does your snow. I'll still see your snow and spot you 10 degrees. I'm ready to sit in the sand again Kimberly 143 143
Not quite as cold here as in Colorado, but still pretty darn cold, and the snow keeps falling! Your pictures warm me right up.
I think your blizzard's ugly sister visited us yesterday, just as deep but 80 degrees colder. neg. 5 right now. just looking at this picture makes me warmer. Rick, lets stop looking and go!! 143
It's a good thing you have that snow fence to keep all the white stuff from drifting onto the highway. We have the cold variety on the way today and tonight... ((>_<))
The snow has since melted and look whats left behind!!!
Blizzard last night. Large snowdrifts. Temp 75 degrees
