I say once again for people who not live through Caucesku's golden age: All meetings with more than two people are subversive acts against society, and an affront to good people. After fall of Communism, Caucesku reframed this in terms of meeting been an affront to productivity. People however not listen to him, because he was on nose.
Ahhh. I certainly won't mind coming back to this picture every year. Unfortunately, this year instead of a single 7-hour meeting, I have eight separate (occasionally overlapping) meetings. Is there a rule against that, Captain Bosko?
Hi Genec, glad to see your pic's are still getting selected as beach of the day. We still look, just not commenting as much. Have a great day, my friend.
Hi Rick, good to hear from you.
Very nice Gene. Wish Kimberly & I were there too. So many beaches and so little time.
...and, thanks for sharing this extraordinary photo! 5 stars all the way!
Gene - Since the stilts went out in the 50's, did you take this photo with your 60's platform shoes and stripped bell bottom pants on? If you did, that would explain the absence of the dumb bell bearing women - they all ran away from you!
Jeff, you must bring Caucesku Rule #1 to workplace. Any meeting with more than two people is banned. If people no listen, Securitate Special Unit fix it.
Hello Jeff, It is a long, long walk. Bring lunch and dinner with you. Skip your meeting and just do it!!! I'll furnish the C's.
I want to take a long, slow walk down that beach. Instead, I have to survive a 7 hour meeting today. I think I'll bring my laptop and keep glancing at this picture throughout the day. Thanks Gene!
Julian, I feel so much more empowered on stilts. When I was very young, all the residences on the beach were on stilts. In the mid '50's and many hurricanes later this began to change. This photo of course was taken from the fishing pier (also replaced many times). YOU FAILED TO VOTE!!!
Great photo, Gene. I hadn't thought of taking photos on stilts. When the angry crowd chases me, I can easily outrun them! The beach people look pretty peaceful though. I can't see any dumbells.
