Pensacola Beach beach, Pensacola, FL - USA

It makes me ill to see all the tarballs and sludge creeping into these once-pristine Pensacola beaches. This was my "stomping ground" for many years and it's heart-breaking to see this happening.

Prophetic words, Julian. The pictures of oil and tarballs on those white sand beaches is heartbreaking. I watched a video from Casino Beach with Gene C's pier in the background. It was beautiful, except for the chocolate brown sludge at the water's edge. :-C

Gene - I'll be returning to my beloved Panhandle in a couple of weeks, so keep these lovely photos coming! They get me thru the day in between my trips...5 stars all the way, plus 1 more if I could!

Hi Carol, Met the owner of "Oyster Bar" Sunday at Grande Lagoon SP. Know where the observation tower is at GLSP? Looked out, could see your oldhouse in Grande Lagoon. Make you homesick? Come on down!!!CHEERS.

Jeff, you have such a keen eye. It is a spot , but not from smoke rings. Corona maybe. Much like myself, my camera (15 yrs) is getting a little fuzzy. I'm too attached to change. (:o) CHEERS

Problem with this jungle... Tarzan and (:0) have a difficult time with these vines. Julian our beaches are all the same. I'm running out of scenes to take without duplicating . When you arrive I'll have a bottle of champagne waiting for you and family.

Back to the jungles of Pensacola. I am becoming fond of this place, so I'll give it five stars. Keep 'em coming Gene, and sooner or later I'll book a holiday at a condo.
