And by the way, A romanticist, I am not (some of the time) I am a warmongoring adventurist and I have mined the entire area around my fence.

OK My good Capt Bosko, that's real good but I'm gonna burst both your bubbles. It's two of my rods and reels used for surf fishing. Can't you see the line leading to the Gulf of Mexico?

Jeff, they not giant cricket antennae. They antennae from my military field radio. The radio is code-hopping, so you part right in twisted way. I keep radio always with me, in case paraglider motor not start. I then call call CSF unit for hot extraction, even for little jobs like fix Florida fence. But since everybody too romantic, and like disrepair fence, I live as is.

Gene, it's fabulous. The state of disrepair adds to the charm.

Well, all you beautiful beach people I have to go to work now. I have a lot of SAND to shovel today!!!

GeneCPart2 - Pensacola, Florida , USA      1/30/2009 8:27 AM

BlaineT, Looks as if you are iced-in so to speak in Dallas.

GeneCPart2 - Pensacola, Florida , USA      1/30/2009 8:25 AM

I agree with the disrepair, I thought they were built that way? : ) Great beach!

BlaineT - Dallas , USA      1/30/2009 8:07 AM

Oh and Jeff, the 2 palms arn't affording very much protection to the shoreline anymore, they too are suffering from Hurricane damage.

GeneCPart2 - Pensacola, Florida , USA      1/30/2009 7:46 AM

I know I shall be critisized for my spelling, but give me a break!! I'm still growing and learning.

GeneCPart2 - Pensacola, Florida , USA      1/30/2009 7:37 AM

Oh Jeff, those stems are decaying Sea Oat stems from Hurrican Ivan '04, Cheers

Jeff, I had already surmised that you might be a practicioner especially after your elegant psychoanatical evalutation of this photo. The only thing I am sure of is that the correct time WAS 5.08 AM for my posting. ( I'm up to watch the beautiful sunrise. Cheers. Lets hear it from Julian!!

GeneCPart2 - Pensacola, Florida , USA      1/30/2009 7:31 AM

The giant cricket antennae are freaking me out a little.

Jeff - Philadelphia , USA      1/30/2009 6:41 AM

Oh yes, nice picture. The sentinel palms stand their lonely vigil, guarding the remaining fence segments from the ravages of nomadic fence contractors.

Jeff - Philadelphia , USA      1/30/2009 6:39 AM

OK, something is fishy here. All times listed on this site appear to be UTC-7 (or US Mountain Standard Time). So Captain Bosko posted at 10:18 am local time in Zagreb (or 8:18 pm in Sydney), but GeneCPart2 would have been posting at 3:08 am in Pensacola! Who is up at 3 am? I see three possibilities: (1) GeneC is really being held captive in Zagreb and is suffering from Stockholm syndrome, (2) GeneC never really returned to us and is actually another pseudonym for Capt. Bosko, or (3) GeneC has insomnia.

Jeff - Philadelphia , USA      1/30/2009 6:39 AM

Morning CAPT Bosko, It's been that way for years, It looks much better in a state of disrepair. I've tried it both ways. I have always been intrigued by your country. My wife and I made it to Budapest back in 1998, we were train buffs and I always envisioned myself stepping off the train in Zagreb in my trench coat (always took it to Europe) then being stopped and questioned by the KGB because we look so American. We never made it to some of the Easter Bloc countries, but who knows I still travel.

Gene, I fix fence for you. Before joining CSF, I was best fence contractor. Then war came, I became defence contractor. Funny world sometime. Anyhow, offer still on table.
