Gene - My thoughts exactly! They can't see the beauty of this beach because it's not putting money in their personal pockets...nothing here but pure nature at it's best, and how do you make Mother Nature pay taxes?!? Keep the wonderful photos coming, you and your photos get 6 stars!!
Not to worry Jean-o.. IT... is probably a left-wing radical socialistic democrat in the obama cabinet. They don't understand budget.. how could they possibly see beauty!!!!>:D
Oh noooooo!!! Just after I mentioned 6 out of 5, it went the wrong way - it dropped to 4 out of 5!!! How can that be??? Such a beautiful beach, what a shame it can't have the 5 star it deserves. Thanks anyway, Gene, for sharing with us!
Jean-o: Yes, we should be able to rate these with more than 5 stars!
Gene - One day while visiting, I believe I'll get lost at your beach too! 6 out of 5 stars from me!
Speaking from experience, Perdido Key is a great place to get lost with an ample supply of Coronas!
And teach... I'm still lost and looking for that passage. :)
Teacher, teacher, I did, I did!!!@(o_o)@
OK, time for a little history. I bet most of you beach zappers know that "perdido" means lost (in Spanish). But did you know that the name for Perdido Key originated from a Spanish explorer who was looking for a passage into the large inland bay? They kept getting lost so they named the bay and the key, "Perdido". I wouldn't mind getting lost here for a while - if I had an ample supply of Coronas with me.
